ddfish@nebonet.com Have you ever made little scriptures from the little
individual boxes of raisins? They are really cute and easy to make. You just cover the
small boxes with black construction paper or cardstock. Have the paper a tiny bit bigger
than the box so the edges hang over, like a book's cover is larger than the pages. Then
you buy either gold paint or a gold permanent marker and color the three edges of the box
that show, to make them look like gold gilded edges of the pages. I usually put a little
piece of ribbon sticking out the bottom of the cover to look like the ribbon markers in
scriptures. Then use the gold pen and write, The Book of Mormon or Bible on the cover.
They really do look like tiny scriptures and they 'feed' us (with raisins) as the
scriptures do our spirits.
