We wanted an activity in January to focus on
Strengthening Home and Family. So last night we had a FHE activity.
We had a sister in the ward come and teach the YW a family home evening lesson. She then
had the YW do a game/activity that went along with the lesson. At the end she passed out
outlines for the lesson (this included what songs could be sung, what pictures would be
appropriate and a little hand out to copy) and instructions to the game and then gave the
girls tips on how they could teach this same lesson to their families for FHE.
The girls seamed to have a good time and of course we had some refreshments at then end
with a recipe so the girls could make it at home.
