We did this last night as a combined activity of the YW classes. The girls really liked it. We had cut out the temple outline out of cardboard, spray painted it silver. Put the angel Moroni on the pilar. We used the multipurpose room for the activity and taped the paper to the floor with masking tape. We had some of the squares saying things that were positive and told them to get a hug or kiss from their YW leaders (we gave them Hershey hugs & kisses).

Some of the squares just had value colors in them. Some of the squares would move you forward to a value that represented the activity of the square, some would move you backwards if the square was not a good activity that was stated in the square.

We did our using the theme "Stand Ye in Holy Places". We began the evening in the YW room and spoke to the girls about holy places. Then we gave them a white paper bag with multicolor toe socks in them. On the outside of the bag was one of poems that was shared on this list (thank you!). The bishop also came in and spoke with the girls a little. Then they left through a door which had a white sheet hanging from it for the veil.

After the game we all came back into the YW room for closing remarks from our bishop. We had a picture of the Portland Temple on the wall at the time he was talking with the girls. He then presented the girls with a booklet about Temples. We are going to be referring to these booklets throughout the year with the girls.

This was such a wonderful activity and the girls were so reverent. It was a big hit.
