going to put together an 8X10 collage about themselves, spiritual and not, leaving a spot
in the middle for a picture of themselves. I just bought frames for these at ShopKo for
$1.50 (I was excited!). Each girl will have a section of table to decorate as she sees fit
with a PP value/goal that she's accomplished and the collage will be displayed there. Then
the girls will sing "His Image In Your Countenance" and we'll have a guest
speaker talk on the same subject. Then, at the end, we're going to present the girls with
a picture snowglobe (2 for $5 at Michael's right now).
Inside will be a picture of themselves, of course, but with a transparency of Christ over
it so they see Christ and themselves. We found a clipart of Christ and printed it onto
vellum.. We're making a snowglobe for every girl, not just the ones that participate in
YWIE. We'll decorate half of the gym kinda "heavenly" -- white, twinkling
lights, soft overhead lights, white tablecloths, etc. As always, we hope the girls, along
with their parents, feel the importance of the PP program and the love Heavenly Father has
for them.
