PINGO

Contributed by: Kathy Habel habelfamily@earthlink.net

I got this idea from this list; here is what we are doing. I made up a "Pingo" chart, which was just a 5X5 grid. I copied it 30 times. I then made a list of 33 words from the personal progress book. Things like the values, key words from the standards of personal worthiness, etc. Then I made up 30 different Pingo charts by writing the words in different order on each chart. I'm sure someone could figure out how to do all this on computer but I'm not that computer literate. Then on our interview night while the counselors are interviewing the girls one on one the advisors and the rest of the young women will play "Pingo". I plan to have the person who wins each round tell how each word on her chart relate to personal progress. The winner of each round will get a prize that starts with "P".

I made up an invitation that had lots of "P" words on it for example "Please Plan to PartciPate at our "P" Party. It told each young woman to please wear something that started with P (pink, pants, purple etc.) and to bring something to eat that started with P (popcorn, pretzels, pop, etc.).
