I had a lot of fun putting this game together! I chose several situations that I
knew were going on or had gone on in the past in our YW group. The element of humor
was also added to keep it a bit light. You can add or change situations to better
fit your group. Have fun!
Setup:
Put Situation on 8 ½" x 11" paper in big text so the girls can read it.
Then put Consequence A on a small colored square and Consequence B on a different colored
square, so when you set up the game you have a big white sheet explaining the situation,
and two small cards of different colors (we used pink for A. consequences and purple for
B.) taped to the 2 bottom corners explaining good and bad consequences. Tape these
up in the order you want around the YW room. Cut out small footprints to lead the
girls from situation to situation. Get regular dice or if you want, make a big one
out of paper. The game piece I used for moving to each situation is a CTR
symbol. If your group is small enough, arrange the chairs in an large semi circle in
the room.
For time purposes, I
found it easiest if the girls rolled the dice but stayed in their chair and I moved the
game piece and read situations. I would take both consequence cards down and as we
discussed the right choice I would hand the pink card to someone to read out loud, then we
would discuss what the wrong decision could be and have someone read the purple
card. For example, we landed on a situation that talked about dating before age 16
and one of my Beehives said there was no problem going to formal school dances before age
16. I handed her the Consequence B card to read and it kind of became a joke when a
Consequence B card was handed to anyone!
Playing the Game: The girls take turns rolling the dice and moving the CTR symbol to
the appropriate square. You read the situation and have the girls discuss what they
would do. Pull off both consequence A and B and discuss each one, showing the girls
how every choice has good or bad consequences.
Situation Squares:
Start Here!

friend tells you that Mormons aren't Christians.
- Your friend walks away with a new respect for you and your
faith in Christ.

thinking that Mormons aren't Christians.

and find out when you get there that alcohol is being served.
- You hear the next day that the police raided the party.
Whew! Aren't you glad you made the right choice?
- Even though you didn't drink, the police bust the party and
you have to call parents from the police station. Get grounded and lose blessings!

every night.

dedicates her Academy Award to all the girls who treated her badly

cool!
- You buy the dress but have to find a sweater or jacket to go
