We are doing "Seeds of Excellence." We are going to tie the Stand as a Witness into it. Something like Standing as a Witness as we continue to Grow! We are serving dirt cups for refreshments and giving the girls a plant or a nice pot and seeds for a gift. We decided not to have a speaker but to do vignettes of women who represent the different values by Standing as A Witness..i.e. Mary, Joan of Arc, Esther etc. We will pick people in our ward who we think will make a good representation of the women and then have a narrator read the story of that woman while she is sitting under a spotlight.

We are using the song "I Will Stand" that we received the other day (it is beautiful)! And also the other song in her book "Sent to Excel" sung by one of our YW...that song goes great with "Seeds of Excellence".

We will present the jewelry to the new YW and also to the others who have earned their jewelry recently. Hope this helps and if anyone has a great idea to go along with this.. please feel free to share!
