After much thought and prayer and considering what the girls
needed we decided to go back to basics and really focus on who these girls are and where
they come from. We felt like after all the confusion going on in the world it makes it
tough to remember who you are. One of our counselors remembered a quote that she heard a
long time ago. "Be Loyal to the Royal within You." We felt like it went great
with what we were trying to get across to the girls. It was a little ironic to find out
later that Harold B. Lee was the person who said it and he happened to be the prophet we
are studying in the Priesthood and Relief Society manual this year. We painted Burger King
crowns gold and gave them to the girls and told them to remember they were Daughters of a
Heavenly King.
