Our elementary school has these paper punch things and tons
of different shapes to use to punch out construction paper or whatever with. We have used
them to cut out some shapes out of contact paper and then we stuck them on white t shirt
and spray painted the t shirts. Then the spot where the contact paper was is left white to
show the pattern (this is probably a horrible explanation but they turned out wonderful!).
Anyway, if your school has a "bee" shape punch, you could punch out a bunch out
of construction paper or contact paper or whatever would suit your project and stick them
where you want them!

This may take longer than what you were wanting, but you
could get a water balloon, blow it up, paper mache around it, when dry, pop the balloon,
spray paint yellow, draw on black stripes with a big marker, add wire for
antenna's and
whala... a bee!

Foam sheet's cut into hearts (White) with black body cut out
of Foam and then take a yellow paint pen and draw the strips with dashes or straight thick
lines... here is a picture of what I thought you could do.. it is just a drawing if you
had a pattern it would go quickly... I would cut some paper clips up for the antennas....
but you could use anything you want.. even spray paint some florist wire...

This year when my daughter returned from camp, she brought
home the cutest little wooden bee. I have tried to confiscate it from her but she refuses
to part with it.
The body of the bee is 1 1/2 inches long. It is the half of a wooden egg. It is painted
yellow, with one large black strip in the middle. So it goes yellow, black, yellow. 2
black dots are painted on the narrow end for eyes.
Two silver wires are curled at the ends with one loop for the antenna. One wire is
longer than the other so the other end sticks out the back. It has been curled numerous
times for the stinger. Both wires are hot glued to the flat bottom of the egg.
The wings are 2, 1 inch wooden hearts that are painted a creamy white. The pointed
ends are glued over the top of the wires in the center of the
body, on the underside of the bee. The curved ends stick-out the side of the body as
wings. Little, black, curved lines are drawn at the outer-edge of the valentine following
the shape of the top of the heart. They look a little heavy to put a magnet on. I
guess you could if it was a very strong one.
