Our dear beloved Prophet, he loves the youth today
He gave them all some counsel to face challenges this day

He counsels to be prayerful in everything you do
First thing in the morning and when the day is through

Be clean in every deed and thought
Your good name for gold cannot be bought

Be true to your standards, every one
Remember your Savior, follow the Son

Be smart and always strive to learn
Eternal rewards are yours to earn

A broken heart being meek and mild
Be humble, as a little child

Remember to develop a thankful attitude
Most people appreciate a show of gratitude

And so dear youth, what’s left to say?
He speaks the truth, he knows the way

Hold fast to these six priceless words
They’ll keep you safe, one of the Lord’s

Each of you today, as Zion’s youth
Hold to the rod, and stand for truth
