Here is
an idea for Lesson #8 that I found in my files and used three years ago when I taught this
lesson. Thanks Janis (if you're still on this list) for your ideas.
As part of my lesson on Sunday (lesson #8) I used the Personal Progress Book demo that I
found in theYW Leadership Mtg. Notes #2 (dated 1/26/99). I took a PP Book and taped a
picture of my family on the back side of the front cover. Following the YW leadership
notes I opened the book and showed how on the one side they can see the Savior through the
tissue of the temple - then moved the temple to the other side covering the picture of my
family - we discussed how the temple is what connects our families to the Savior. The
girls were fascinated by the demo and several of them indicated that they wanted to go
home and paste a picture inside their PP books.
