I followed the manual throughout the lesson and at the end I used individual roses for the girls with a little saying I attached with ribbon that said:  "just as a seed needs daily sunlight, water, plant food, and T.L.C. to become a beautiful flower; We as daughters of God need love, prayer, service, obedience, scripture study, and work, daily, to become beautiful young women!"

The girls loved their flowers but might I suggest getting an inexpensive potting flower they can pot and grow to be a constant reminder to them to see daily!
