I thought this was a great object lesson that was
submitted by Andrea in So. CA
Have a mouse trap that is set. Take a cracker or something
that will crumble when the trap goes off. Then emphasize that surrendering to Satan's
enticements can shatter our lives.
Usually, once we have nibbled we come back for more. Satan
then has us caught in his traps.
Then as a handout give them a mouse trap with a piece of
cardstock printed on it "Don't get caught in Satan's traps..." There is also a
quote from Pres. Benson which reads: "You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is
impossible!!! Years of happiness can be lost in the foolish gratification of a momentary
desire for pleasure. Satan would have you believe that happiness comes only as your
surrender to his enticements, but one only needs to look at the shattered lives of those
who violate God's laws to know why Satan is called the Father of Lies."

The beginning of the lesson talks about getting caught in a trap or snare.
I got a BIG MOUSE TRAP, and wrote on the back (Purple for integrity) "DONT
GET TRAPPED" I think a cute handout would be to get a smaller mousetrap
and write the same thing or make a cute label to go on the back.
