I had a recently (3 weeks) returned missionary who is still so enthused and has the countenance, to come and speak to our yw. He did such a great job. He told them of all the things required of him while on his mission and then went into what they could do to help further missionary work, how to help influence our YM right now to make that decision, and what kind of letters to write. He also told about how since he has been home, he has been able to go on some splits with the full time missionaries here...and he is teaching some of the people he has grown up around and knows...and he said how he feels bad that he never shared it with them before his mission...so he encouraged them to be brave and listen to the prompting when it comes to their friends etc...he really did a bang up job and the girls really listened. Plus it sure takes the pressure off me to teach! LOL...Then I had them take a moment at the end and gave them some stationary and had them write a simple note to a missionary in our ward or that they knew and for those that had addresses, (I supplied the ward ones), I took their sealed envelopes and will sent them on Tues. The others will have to send their own. I think it was quite successful.
