I asked 3 girls (it was combined YW, so one girl from each class) to bring in a photo of their dad, tell his full name, what he's like and what they like to do with him. Then when we discussed Heavenly Father, we made a chart on the board with his name, his characteristics and how you get to know him. I pointed out that the way to strengthen a relationship is through spending time with someone--as in prayer! Anyway, we had a few minutes for testimonies and there was a lot of participation, which isn't always the case.
