I ended up combining lesson 17 and 18. I was impressed by the resource material for Lesson 18, Marriage in the Lords way. His talk is actually in the format of a letter to a young couple getting married. I took parts of his letter and actually parts of the talk from Receive the temple Blessings by Richard G. Scott for my lesson. I told the girls we were going to answer a letter written to us by Kerstyn and Tom. I pretty much took word for word Cree L. Koffords opening remarks, added in some of Richard G. Scotts, all the way up to where he starts answering their questions. I took the questions from lessons 17 and 18, re-worded some of them and used some quotes from both these talks and the lesson to answer the questions.

I am starting the lesson by giving the girls the questions with no answers with it, and ask them to answer the questions as best they can. Questions like:

1. How is being married in the temple different?

2. What does being sealed mean?

3. Do you have any suggestions on how to keep from being overwhelmed on my wedding day?

4. Why is the temple endowment secret?

5. What will I need to take to the temple?

6. What clothing should be worn to the temple?

7. Will I need special temple clothing?

8. Why does everyone wear the same kind of clothing in the temple?

9. Members receive a temple garment in the endowment, do they have to wear it all their lives?

10. What will people be doing throughout eternity

11. What will be the state of the family in eternity, (who will I be united with)

All questions can be answered in the lesson material or resource material.  I am hoping to get them thinking a little bit on their own before giving them the correct answers. I think there are some questions they really won't know how to answer.

I will then pass out the questions with the correct answers to compare with what they have written and I will then proceed to read the letter They will then answer the questions in the order they have them in. I will conclude with the sacred triangle in lesson 18 along with a handout.
