Bookmark Handout: a purple bookmark that I stamped with Stand for Truth and
Righteousness with a butterfly underneath it. I got the stamp at the bookstore in a set of
YW with the values. It's nice to have. Anyway, I embossed it in Gold. Then, I took a
butterfly stamp and stamped it in black at the very bottom of the bookmark. I cut a small
slit above the butterfly's antennae and stuck a black feather in it. The feather was the
same height as the bookmark so it covered the words on the bookmark. They had to take the
black feather out to see the words written. On the back of the bookmark I made up a poem
and wrote it there. It says...
Let your anger
be light as a
feather
and your peace
be sturdy and
strong.
So that enemies
together
may sing the
same song.
The black feather represents our anger. And in order to see the good things or the
peace (the gold embossed words on the bookmark) they must first get rid of the bad stuff or
the anger.
