Journal Signing

From Alice Gifford - This idea was submitted by Jane of Richmond, VA on the Seminary List.  Thought it would be great idea for the Young Women and would reinforce Journals.

At the end of this year, instead of a "Yearbook" signing. We are doing a "Journal" signing. I will ask each student to turn to a blank page in their journal and write their name at the top of the page so we'll know who's journal it is. I will give each student 2 minutes to write something positive in each student's journal and sign it. Then we will pass the journal to the right and I will time them again until all the journals have been signed. This should take approximately 30 minutes for me. You could adjust the time for the number of students you have. Just something for them to remember who was in their class. (If you don't have a journal you could pass around sheets of paper, etc.)
