Cornucopia

The easiest way that I found to make the cornucopias was as follows:

Put one sugar cone in the microwave at a time with point going towards the top of microwave. Watch cone and as soon as you see the seam of the cone start to come apart (just a few seconds) then I removed the cone and quickly bent the bottom. It was very fast & very simple.

I bought candy runts at Winco's in the bulk bin and filled each cornucopia. I covered them with a harvest cellophane from All a Dollar and tied a gold bow around them. I hope this helps.

I saw in a magazine once where she dipped her finger in water and wet the cone in a circle to soften it just enough to bend it. Then they let it dry and filled them with cream cheese and marzipan fruit candies.
