LDS-YW Group at Yahoo) Last year we based our
Christmas lesson around a song by Lynne Perry Christofferson
entitled "He Was A Shepherd Too". It is found
in a Christmas book called Christmas; A Holiday of the Heart. The lyrics
talk about how when the shepherds came to see the baby
Jesus, did they realize that He would be a shepherd too? When the
wise men came, did they realize He would be a wise man too? It
finishes by talking about Christ as our Messiah. Each of the members
of the presidency took a few minutes to talk about how Christ was a
shepherd, a wise man, and our Messiah. We finished by having the
song sung by a woman in the ward. We were very happy with how it
went, and with the spirit that was there.
