Contributed by: Melissa Munn

I take old Christmas cards that have meaning and beauty and make beautiful Tree ornaments.
Here is what you need:
1. You need craft straw, corn husking , ribbon; (shiny, velvet, thick or thin)or anything to make a beautiful bow.
2. You need iridescent glitter.
3. Glue gun and glue sticks
4. Elmers glue
5. Any kind of dried flowers, tiny Christmas misc. items,
6. Different sizes of plastic lids (like whip topping bowl lids, to Hershey syrup plastic lids) all different sizes.
7. Dry moss for flower arrangements
8. Modge Podge or glazing of waterproofing of some sort.

Cut cards into round shapes the size of the lids( always measure to the lid) . Glue into the lid.( Using Elmers glue with paint brush). Use the rim of the lid to put colorful ribbon or corn husking or straw around the rim, framing it.( use a glue gun). Make a loop of ribbon, (or the same material used before), to form the tree hanger. (glue to back) Add flowers, bells, little Christmas items , mistletoe, tiny pinecones etc. Paint the picture over with modge podge or glazing of some sort. paint glue where you want the picture or frame to sparkle. add glitter, white or clear iridescent. These look very elegant and beautiful, and are all different sizes. they make beautiful tree decorations!
