An Inn Keeper's Door hanger/ornament

You can make a larger version for hanging on a doorknob or a smaller version for an ornament. It is approx a 4inch square forest green Matting board (Craft/framing stores will sell you big sheets of it and even cut it for you, although I did the extra work of cutting mine to save money).

A quote from Neil A Maxwell is type up in a calligraphy font and printed on cream colored paper and then cut out in a 3 inch square with decorative scissors. At the top of the quote is a little hand drawn yellow star and at the bottom is a colored holly leaves and berries.  Glue to the center of the square.  Cut or drill two wholes at the top of the board.  Run some jute or twine thru and knot at the back for a hanger. Tear a small strip of fabric and tie into a little bow on the twine.

The Quote:
Everyone is an Innkeeper,
who decides if there
is room for Jesus.
Neil A. Maxwell.

Christ is the center of our home, a guest at every meal, a silent listener to every conversation.
