What if Enos Forgot to Pray
Youth having a problem with _________________
This person doesn't know where to turn.....Dear Abby, Horoscope, Fortune Tellers, the
Psychic hotline, friends, neighbors....
Group comes out singing, "Who you going to call? Ghost Busters!!!!"
(Dance routine could also be used
In the end, she remembers what her primary teacher taught her about the prophet, Joseph
Smith. And her YW leaders were always talking about the importance of the scriptures
and how you can turn to them for answers. Isn't that what Joseph Smith did???
Runs home and calls out for mother, "Mom, can we have scripture
study?"
Mother, "Sure dear, when dad comes home we'll ........
YW - "No mom, I mean right now....just me and you. It's really important and
I'd like to do it now if we could."
mom drops everything and they pull out the scriptures and begin to read. They
are reading about Enos. (Spotlight is on Enos in the corner)
Spotlight back on YW & Mother
YW - "Mom, that's the answer! Enos! What if Enos Forgot to
Pray?????? Prayer! Mom you're the greatest! Thanks! When Dad comes
home do you think he'd give me a Father's blessing - I think that would really help!
Mother - "Of course dear!"
YW - To herself she says, "Ghost Busters- Who needs them when you have the Holy
Ghost!"
Group could sing, "Look for the Light" (from My Turn on Earth) or "Hold On,
The Light Will Come (Michael McLean)
