Opening Scene: (the Stake YM Pres. & High Councilor and a few of YM
leaders) the crowd goes wild!
They sing a song (haven't come up with this yet) (Maybe even have some kind of dance
routine here that involves more of the youth)
YM & YW and a group of friends are gathered
YM - "Hey, you want to go to the concert with me?"
YW - "What concert"
YM - What concert? WHAT CONCERT! Amulon & The Wicked Priests! They really rock!!!!!
YW - Oh! Well, I'm not sure I can. I'll need to check with my parents to see if we........
( She is hesitant to go with him)
YM - (he cuts her off) "Your parents? You don't still go to them do you?????? Amulon
told us at the last concert to forget about our families. They're old news and just hold
us back from experiencing real life! They've lived their lives, let us live ours! That's
my motto! Well, let me know tomorrow. I'll be waiting for your answer."
That night the YW has a dream ----- on the way to the concert they have to travel down
__________lane. There are signs all along the road which say "NO U Turns
Allowed", "Stop means GO", and "If you see a flashing yellow light -
just go faster!" She can hear voices of people who are trying to confuse her
and calling her in all directions.
The streets are very dark and she feels very scared and alone....and starts singing a hymn
_____ (in the background a heavenly choir can also be heard) then she remembers what
Mohonri Moriancum told her before he left on his mission. "Look to the Lord for
Light".
She wakes up, sits up and says, "Look to the Lord for Light". That's right! I
don't even need to ask mom and dad, they've already taught me the same thing! She get out
of bed and says her morning prayers.
YM (at school) "Hey babe, did mommy and daddy give your permission????
YW - "Well actually, Coriantumr, I've decided I really don't want to go. I'm kind of
waiting for Mohonri Morinacumr while he's serving his mission.
YM - "Do I know him?"
YW - "Yeah, you know, the Brother of Jared."
YM - "Oh, "him". What's so great about him?"
YW - "Well, if you really want to know - he rocks! I mean really rocks! He promised
to take me to see the l6 Stones if I waited for him and I've decided that's worth waiting
for."
YM - walking off stage, shaking his head, "Sixteen Stones - I've never even
heard of that group!"
The Heavenly Choir sings a closing song
