sfkeogh@netscapeonline.co.uk We are doing
a craft for our secret friends at camp--stepping stones. I found it on the
makingfriends.com site. You take cement and pour it into a cardboard mold--we are using
small heart shaped candy boxes left from Valentine's Day. Then you press small pebbles,
sticks, dried flowers, leaves, etc. into the top of the cement and let dry. You can also
spell a name or "camp" with twigs, etc. or put a handprint. When they dry they
make a stepping stone for the yard. I thought this especially appropriate for the
"Stand as a Witness" theme this year. I want to put a little poem or paragraph
with the stones about standing as a witness to make them have meaning for the YW. Any
ideas?
