Our Stake used the theme "Sailing Home. . . Anchor Your Soul in Christ" last year. The scripture for the theme came from Ether 12:4 "Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being let to glorify God."

Each ward named their own ship chosen from characteristics or attributes of Christ. We had the H.M.S. Zeal, AMB S.T.A.R. ("Stand for Truth and Righteousness), H.M.S. Light (this ward did a lot with lighthouses), U.S.S. Charity, H.M.S. Love, U.S.S. Happiness. H.M.S. Messenger, C.S.S. Mustard Seed, and H.M.S. Integrity and the stake's ship was the U.S.S. Hope.

There was a theme song that all the wards learned--it was BEAUTIFUL! It is entitled "I Will Anchor my soul in Christ". I'm not sure who wrote it but could find out where they got it if you would like.
