Quest for the Best

This is a medieval theme, with knights and all that stuff. It was decided that the YCLs will be Jesters; the First Level will be Squires; Second Level: Merry Minstrels, Third Level: Jousters,  Fourth Level: Ladies in Waiting,  Cooks: Sorcerers, Staff: Lords and Ladies.

The lodge was decorated like medieval times. Each group made a shield on a flag to represent them. We had a man and a woman on horse, dressed like a knight and a lady come through the campfire to kick off the week. We had tournaments one night that were deranged forms of jousting and knight contests. We had a medieval dinner of chicken, corn on the cob, a fruit with no silverware, reigned over by a queen.

The ropes course was the dragon's lair.

Spiritual message throughout the week was to look for the best in others, have the "best" kind of friends (of good influence), do your best in everything you do. Face your dragons and conquer them. Quite powerful.
