We are also using a nautical theme for our Stake Camp here in NM/Arizona. We have chosen to base our camp on the theme "Anchored to Christ" and use anchors, boats, etc. Our scripture is found in Ether 12:4.  The song we will use as our Theme song is "Anchored to Christ" by Marci Carter and Kevin Holgate. The song is incredible.

Each Ward or Unit is choosing a watercraft to base their individual camp theme development around. Our YCLs have chosen to be Pirates (remember the Disneyland song from Pirates of the Caribbean, changed only to "Yo Ho Fiddle-dee-dee the RIGHTEOUS life for me"--or something like that anyway!")

I think Stake leaders will be the Coast Guard. We plan to have a large lighthouse built in the meadow where we meet "on deck." We had our first planning meeting with our Head YCLs last Sunday, and I came home really pumped with their good ideas.
