Our branch
used the Princess theme. One thing I did was
to go and get those Burger King Crowns and some jewels and spray painted them the color we
wanted.
Also,
JoAnns had a cute stencil that had crowns on it. Has
a small crown sponge and then a stencil that you would use very fine fabric markers to
outline and design with. We ended up putting
one crown on the front of our shirts and putting
Princess above it and our name below. On the
back we put three crowns ( all who are in our branch of YW) and put the words " One
of Three".
We, too,
did ring pops and I found these darling socks( at WalMart) that were white and had crowns
and the words Princess on them.

I thought
about the crown idea as well, but I was thinking another option to the yellow poster board
to make them, would be the yellow craft foam. I
can't think of what it is really called right now, but it's thin, thin sheets of foam that
you can cut and glue, etc. We used it one year
to make visors that looked like slices of watermelon!
We all had to be different fruits and our ward was the watermelons. They worked out so good and I still have mine! You could make the crowns like a visor. The foam is stiff enough to stand up and really
comfortable to wear.
