Temple Hanger Poem

Written by: Deana Wood

To marry in the temple, that is my sacred goal.

To kneel before the altar clean and pure and whole.

So I will keep this hanger empty until my wedding day

To remind me of the promises I’ve made all along the way

And when at last it holds my perfect temple dress

I will know for certain that I didn’t settle for less.
