I wrote a poem to go with the "Get to the temple" road
trip whether you toss a coin or throw a dice or write directions on
cards. I put the poem on half a page of card stock and attached a
cheap ring with a ribbon. It made a nice keepsake to remind them that
decisions they make today determine whether they go to the temple
later.
Decide Today
By Judy Morgan
To make decisions properly
Beforehand you decide,
What you will do when tempted
Will the Spirit be your guide?
Or will you merely toss a coin
And leave your fate to chance?
Don't be a breath tossed to and fro
Victim of happenstance.
Decide right now to do His will
If ever in a bind,
And Jesus Christ will be your strength
And comfort you will find.
So let this ring remind you
Of the goal you set today,
To be married in the temple
Then prepare in every way.
