by: Valerie in WA vanderhoeven@attbi.com We recently played a "Friendship Bingo"
I made blank Bingo boards that were 5 squares across by 5 squares down. And once we got
there, we decided on what 5 categories we were going to do. We did:
- Favorite food
- Favorite subject in school
- Favorite thing to do in spare time
- Favorite temple
- Favorite TV show
We then took about 5-10 minutes and had to come up
with 5 things in each category going down. Then we just started somewhere and
someone would say "One of my favorite things to eat is _____" And
then she got to put a candy heart on that square (This was 2 days before valentine's day)
Anyone else who also had that same thing in their favorites also got to put a heart down.
We then just went in a circle and said things about ourselves trying to get a
Bingo. Then after one, we played for 2 Bingos, then blackout. It was really fun and
I got to know some things about my Beehives that I had no idea.
This is easily something that can be done with no notice but turned out to be one
of my girls favorite activities in awhile. You want to think of a fine mixture of things
others won't have because when your turn comes around, they won't all be able to cross off
a square, but you don't want to have to wait for your turn to come around for every square
you cross off.
