How about an Article of Faith
Road Rally?
Divide your youth into 4 groups and send them to 5-6 houses
in your ward where they (as a group) have to recite one of the Articles of Faith (they
didn't know in advance which ones they needed to know). Depending on how well the group
knew it, they earned points. If they did very poorly, the members could ask them to do a
service for them. Each team carried a score card with them that had to be signed by the
members. The team with the most points at the end won. I think the groups were given clues
to each of the houses they were to go to. The members were given instructions ahead
of time along with which AOF the youth were to recite at their house.
Points:
3 points if whole group can recite it without significant
problems. If some of the youth have obvious problems, ask them to say it by themselves. If
they make it through, the group still gets 3 points. If they need help from teammates,
give them 2 points. If no one in the group can get through without help, show them the AOF
and let them read it. They then only get 1 point (for effort) and need to perform a
service. (We asked that this be kept short, of course).
