by: Sharon We told the girls about the activity only the Sunday before.
So not a lot of notice. I told them to brush up on the Articles of Faith because
they would need to know them for the activity. I should have made it even less
intimidating because at least one girl didn't come because she felt she didn't know them
well enough. Anyway I was hoping for 15 girls so I had planned to have 3 different tables.
I had planned for 1 person to be in charge at each table- I made sure everyone in charge
of the tables had a copy of the Articles of Faith and the answers to the questions etc.
One table was for easy- get bowl, spoon, napkin and ice cream; one table for
medium-get choice of 3 toppings; one table for hard get extra toppings.-bananas
,sprinkles, nuts, crumbled cookies or candy. I tried to make it fun and a learning
activity instead of making anyone feel dumb. So we helped a little here and there. They
earned 1 item for each activity they chose- so they answered 1 question -got bowl, did
another question- got spoon etc.
I used easy questions and a fill in the blank for the easy. I used a word search for the
medium. I used harder questions and a unscramble words for the hard.
These are web sites for the puzzles http://www.puzzlemaker.com/
