At New Beginnings to introduce this year’s theme.  I handed everyone a slip of paper with a Woman of Scripture on it with the scripture reference, for example Elizabeth – Luke 1; 7.  We gave everyone a few minutes to look up the scriptures and then they each explained how their woman arose and shone forth.  I feel it was successful, some were well known stories but some weren’t.  We of course know a lot about the prophets in the scriptures but there are also many wonderful examples of faithful women in the scriptures and I think our Young Women need to know more about them.
