ARISE & SHINE FORTH: Like A
Lighthouse is our theme we are using for New Beginnings. The YW and
leaders have been practicing the songs "Arise and Shine Forth" by
Michael McLean and "Like A Lighthouse" by Michael Webb. We are
decorating with lighthouses (pictures and statues) and also the
value colors. We have a short talk about lighthouse of the Lord.
Part of the talk comes from "the Lighthouse of the Lord" by
President Thomas S. Monson. Also the YW are talking briefly about
the different areas of YW's and how all these areas bring us closer
to the light of the Lord and when in turn can be like a lighthouse
and have His light shine through us.
